FABRIC
  • Our fabric is sourced from Carvico, an Italian fabric company committed to offering “high end recycled fabrics made of ECONYL® yarn, a 100% regenerated nylon yarn derived from pre and post industrial waste such as discarded fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet use, industrial plastic and carpet fluff (the top part of Nylon carpets which have got to the end of their useful life)”
  • Carvico’s Vita Fabric is made from 78% Recycled Nylon & 22% Elastane

    TRIMS

  • We use industry standard Fulflex® brand elastic. It is ideal for sewing swimwear due to its superior stretch, strength, and ability to withstand chlorine and saltwater. Although not made from recycled materials, it is made to last. When paired with sustainable textiles, our elastic should never end up in the landfill.
  • Here’s why we love Fulflex’s company ethics: They provide in-house training to “help employees further develop the special skills necessary to work in the rubber industry. The salary ranges from $19.53 per hour to $23.72 per hour post training, and the company offers a competitive benefits package that includes a comprehensive medical, dental and vision plan, as well as 401(k) with a company match.”
